Green, Loggerhead, Leatherback, Kemps Ridley, Olive Ridley and Flatback sea turtles are all endangered.
We are expanding sea turtle conservation in Brevard's South beaches.
The work we perform helps maintain the quality and quantity of nesting habitat for marine turtles, reduce the impacts of beachfront lighting on critical nesting beaches, reduce human related mortality of all life stages of Florida's marine turtles, identify and eliminate factors that reduce the natural productivity of nesting beaches and educate communities about the promotion of sea turtle population recovery.
Support our research!
$50 funds one hour of sea turtle research and conservation. The support you provide allows us to do this and we thank you.
We collect measurements for 250 nests each year 3 days per week for 4 months straight on a 41km stretch of beach at specific locations, this is no small feat and we need your support.
We just traveled Internationally to present our research at the International Sea Turtle Symposium In Cartagena Colombia and we could not have done it without the support of you all, THANK YOU!
