Sprouts of the Seas is a brand-new youth program brought to you by Stella Maris Environmental Research in partnership with Brevard County Parks & Recreation. This hands-on environmental leadership program is designed to inspire the next generation of coastal stewards through science, conservation, and community action. Join us!

Saturdays June 6, 2026 through March 13, 2027 
• Learn about dunes & coastal protection
• Explore coastal science & ecology
• Protect and plant sea oats
• Support sea turtle habitats
• Participate in beach stewardship activities

Registration covers the entire season from June 6, 2026 – March 13, 2027
Time: 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM
Ages: 10–14
Location: Nancy Higgs Community Center
500 Old Florida Trail
Melbourne Beach, FL 32951

What to Bring:
Hat, closed-toe shoes, water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray, sunglasses, and a cooling towel.
